Guidelines for Authors
The International Journal of Literature, Language, and Cultural Studies (IJLLCS) welcomes high-quality, original submissions that contribute to scholarship in literature, linguistics, language studies, and cultural research. Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure smooth review and publication.
Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, academic English.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins.
- Recommended length: 5,000–8,000 words for research articles; 2,000–4,000 words for reviews, case studies, or book reviews.
- Tables, figures, and charts should be clearly numbered, titled, and placed appropriately within the text.
Manuscript Structure
- Title Page: Title, authors’ names, affiliations, and ORCID (if available).
- Abstract: 200–300 words summarizing objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions; include 4–6 keywords.
- Introduction: Background, research problem, and objectives.
- Literature Review: Relevant studies and theoretical framework.
- Methodology: Research design, data collection, and analysis.
- Results and Discussion: Findings with interpretation and analysis.
- Conclusion: Summary, implications, and future research directions.
- References: Complete list formatted in APA 7th edition.
- Acknowledgements (optional): Funding, institutional, or personal support.
Submission Process
- Manuscripts should be submitted electronically via the journal’s submission system or official email.
- All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
- Each manuscript undergoes double-blind peer review by experts in the field.
Ethical Standards
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited; all submissions are checked with plagiarism detection software.
- Authors must properly cite all sources and declare conflicts of interest.
- Research involving human participants must comply with recognized ethical guidelines and include necessary approvals.
Publication Fees
An Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply to accepted manuscripts to cover editorial, review, and open-access publication costs. Authors are informed of the fee upon acceptance.

- Authors retain the copyright of their published work.
- Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction with proper citation.
