Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The International Journal of Literature, Language, and Cultural Studies (IJLLCS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and ensures that all stakeholders—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—uphold integrity, transparency, and accountability in the publication process.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Submit original, unpublished manuscripts not under review elsewhere.
  • Properly cite all sources and avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplicate publication.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest and financial or institutional support.
  • Ensure research involving human participants complies with ethical standards and includes approvals.

Responsibilities of Editors

  • Make fair, unbiased, and timely decisions based solely on scholarly merit.
  • Ensure confidentiality and a transparent double-blind peer-review process.
  • Address ethical concerns or misconduct promptly.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Provide constructive, objective, and timely feedback.
  • Treat manuscripts as confidential and declare conflicts of interest.
  • Report any ethical concerns or plagiarism to the editors.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

  • Maintain ethical publishing practices and support editors in addressing misconduct.
  • Take corrective actions such as errata, retractions, or corrections in cases of proven ethical violations.

Malpractice Statement

International Journal of Literature, Language, and Cultural Studies (IJLLCS) maintains a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate submission. Manuscripts found guilty of misconduct will be rejected or retracted, and authors may be barred from future submissions.
